I decided I needed a change of scenery tonight, so Melissa and I headed to Shelbyville to do our runs. Plus we didn't feel like battling the wind on the open country roads tonight. Decided to go a little further tonight, but my legs are still feeling pretty tired. Other than that they feel pretty good. No abnormal aches and pains, so that is a good sign. Keeping my legs healthy will probably be the hardest part of this challenge. I have lost 10 pounds in the last couple of months, which helps alot. Hopefully I can lose a few more pounds along the way. It was pretty chilly tonight with the wind howling out of the north. I had to wear a lightweight stocking cap tonight, which I was not a big fan of. That shouldn't be necessary in May.
Another funny memory from this past weekend popped into my mind today. I wish I could have gotten a picture of this. As Melissa and I exited Memorial Stadium there was a guy talking on his cellphone. He had running gear on and he even had a medal around his neck from doing one of the races (I don't remember what race). As I look over the guy lights up a cigarette and starts puffing away. Nothing like a nice refreshing cigarette after a hard run ;)
